If you like tough girl motorcycle boots this season, the Frye Engineer 8R Boots are top of the list of classic cool.
Motorcycle boots look great with everything, if you find a pair that fits you well, the are super comfortable and they can last forever. Frye boots are the gold standard for classic but rugged, chic and well-made boots. Frye makes their harness engineer boots in women's size 11 which is great news because it isn't always easy to find the exact thing you want in size 11. Unfortunately, the amazing Rogan Studded Frye Boots beneath them which are so perfectly distressed and tough looking are only available in size 8.5 and 9 as now.

The Frye Engineer boot has a buckle around the ankle and is similar to the harness boot. The Frye Harness boot named for the harness detail that makes them look so right come in many colors, leather finishes and minor variations. Also very similar to the Frye Women's Engineer 8R is the 12R Boot Gaucho Boot. The Gaucho is cool because it is a little higher on the leg so it hits at a flattering place but still a low boot with the same detail and appeal as the 8R. You can see the Harness 8R here as well
The Harness boots have a little more of a western feel while the engineer boots stay a little more urban. Both are fantastic and the feel and fit of Frye boots is excellent. Frye boots aren't cheap but money spent on them is usually money well spent. Frye Boots, whichever style you choose, whether a tall boot with a low heel like the Jane Boot or a high boot like the Frye Dorado, or one of these like the Frye Engineer boot - the quality is excellent, the leather rich and luxurious and you want to live in them.
I'm also a huge fan of the Frye Rand Engineer boot which is similar to the 8R and the Harness but has a cool workboot feel that I love. It comes in Tobacco brown which is perfect for the boot style.
If you have a little one you can even do mommy and me boot days and make your little one a mini me as Frye makes a small Frye version of the engineer boot. It's a slip on kids engineer boot that is pretty awesome.
