These cute T-strap shoes with a low heel for comfort look like they could be free Anthropologie. Naturally, at this price, these Hollie T-strap shoes aren’t real leather. If you are looking for unique shoes, and want shoes that not every girl is wearing, check out some of our favorite unique size 11 shoes.

United Bamboo Elsa 11 at Creatures of Comfort 

The United Bamboo Elsa Pump – the Elsa Pump has a sculpted stacked heel and some other bells and whistles to make it stand out. It is a black leather pump with a manageable 3.5” heel and gold details. If you like basic black, feminine with an edge, check out the United Bamboo Elsa size 41, of course.

Another standout is the Robert Clergerie Bejart Suede Wedge. It has a 5” lacquered wedge heel with an almost 2” platform. It has cool graphic cutout design and a zipper in the back. The Robert Clergerie Bejart is an expensive pair of shoes. An alternative cool pair of suede black wedge shoes is the Seychelles Women’s Thriller Ankle Boots.

Every girl needs a pair of low heeled motorcycle boots or something to add some toughness to the more frilly looks. The Dieppa Restrepo Ace Boot is just such a boot. Available at Creatures of Comfort in size 11, the Dieppa Restrepo Ace Bootie is tough but glamorous, simple but with great details.

These aren’t particularly unique but being designed by the beloved French brand, A.P.C. Buckle Boot size 11 is on the list because A.P.C. is so adored by the cool girls. The APC Buckle Boot has a tidy 2” wooden stacked heel, buckle detail and the kind of classic shape that can stand the test of time. Going a little more funky here, we look at the Acne Highway Boot. These wedge boots are sculptural, unique and functional too. They have cascading little suede pockets covering them and a sculpted wedge heel. Also available at Creatures of comfort, the Acne Highway Boots are expensive (but on sale!) and you will definitely not see all of the other girls wearing these boots. Boot We Love: Opening Ceremony Tron Legacy Neoprene Bootie

One of the more interesting pairs of booties I have come across lately is these Neoprene Tron Legacy Booties at Opening Ceremony.

Opening Ceremony clothes, shoes and accessories are always interesting - sometimes I don't like them at all, sometimes I love them but they usually provoke a reaction which in my book is good. The Opening Ceremony online store has tons of fresh, exciting designers, collaborations and fun treats to get you inspired and to make your wardrobe extraordinary.

So, apparently these Tron Legacy sock booties are a collaboration with Disney Consumer products inspired by an upcoming movie, Tron: Legacy. The Tron movie capsule collection features futuristic pieces likes these Tron Neoprene Booties that indeed do come in size 11. The booties made of textured rubber and neoprene come in black, bright yellow, my favorite - this exquisite turquoise that for opening ceremony's purposes is called royal blue and a bright orange. The colors of the ankle boots is incredibly vibrant and accented with black - they are show stoppers.

The shoes are open toe, have 5"heels in covered by textured rubber which makes me think they may have nice grip and be easy to walk in despite their height. They also have a 1.5" platform which helps. Love them, or hate them - the Opening Ceremony Tron Neoprene ankle boots are vibrant, fresh and will change up any look. One of my favorite shoe designers as you may notice if you have spent any time here is Jeffrey Campbell. I love the innovative, slightly edgy and always cool shoes and boots that Jeffrey Campbell produces.

As with many cool designers and shoe brands, it is sometimes difficult to find the shoes you want in women’s size 11. Sure, sometimes you get lucky and find that perfect Wishlist boot in your size. However, it usually isn’t that easy and you have to scour stores and the Internet to find women’s 11 boots and shoes by the hip designers like Jeffrey Campbell. If you've come across this and you love Jeffrey Campbell shoes and aren't limited to size 11, make sure to check out Jeffrey Campbell Shoes and Booties.

The site is well organized, easy to search and has good photos of the shoes from every angle so you know what you are getting when you look at a pair of shoes. The site also makes it easy to email a friend the shoes you are thinking about.

Another designer that I think has a similar aesthetic to Jeffrey Campbell is Sam Edelman. The Sam Edelman shoes are cool and slightly edgy but not too funky and they also have some great size 11 boots and shoe styles. Sam Edelman shoes are a little bit easier to get your hands on. Maybe that is part of the appeal of the Jeffrey Campbell boots and shoes. It seems like a mission impossible to get your hands on them in your size when you want them!

Try Nordstrom for the Jeffrey Campbell Daphne Sandals Size 11 – the Nordstrom website has the delicate pretty grey heels with the fur detail kind of perfect for Holiday 2010 party time.
Nordstrom’s website also carries the Jeffrey Campbell All-Ruffle Bootie – a cute ankle boot in army green that laces up and gets funky with a ruffle around the ankle.

That same whipstitch pierced leather Jeffrey Campbell OTK boot is also on sale at Nordstrom but this time in brown/green. Although having seen it in person, I must say the pierced leather boot looks a lot more army green than a true brown. I wish it was brown as that is what I’ve been hunting for this season. However, the green is great looking and it is a solid choice for a size 11 Jeffrey Campbell boot..

Do make sure you check out the Nordstrom site for your Jeffry Campbell boots and shoes. They have a good selection including the cool Loggins lace-up boot oxford with a nice comfortable mid level 2 ½” heel, and the Jeffrey Campbell Alberta Maryjane heel in size 12 and size 11. Enjoy!

Jeffrey Campbell Razzo 11 – gorgeous brown leather, studded around the back of the heel – it has a not-too-high 3” heel. It’s a high over-the-knee style that is both basic but super cool with an edge. As always, the details are excellent and these boots will look stylish with tons of outfits. They are also made roomy so they work for wide calf boot needs.

Jeffrey Campbell Meds Size 11 – super cool brown distressed leather lace-up riding boot. These are incredible everyday boots that look worn in and solid like you’ve had them forever.

Jeffrey Campbell Just Size 11 – field boot made in a cool sturdy canvas ivory lace-up and also in black and tan brown with a just right low heel. They also zip up so they are easy to get on and off in a pinch.

Jeffrey Campbell Pixie Size 11 – a hot wedge boot with a 4 inch heel and a hidden 1” platform similar to a past style the Jeffrey Campbell 99. The pixie comes in several fantastic colors and prints: black and gold zebra, purple suede, stone suede, blue suede shoes, black, brown and more – a great shoe to have in your closet.

One of my favorite pairs of menswear shoes is by designer darling Rachel Comey. Rachel Comey booties are on fashionable girls everywhere. I have found it challenging to find size 11 Rachel Comey boots and shoes but these, the Thistle Booties with their small wood stacked 3" heel and cool menswear look are available in size 41! At this same site, Creatures of Comfort, which is an excellent source for cool, incredibly wearable clothing, shoes and accessories, you can also find the Rachel Comey Bernard Bootie Size 11. Rockport makes a really cute basic oxford heel the leather Audry Oxford Heels. They are comfortable lace-up ankle booties that would work well with trousers or skirts and dresses. These vibrant blue suede oxfords are super cool and affordable too.


Another fun menswear oxford option is the Tracy Reese Juliet Oxford On Heel. With a medium heel, the Juliet Oxford booties are available in black snake, black leather and brown snake. The lace-up ankle boots are feminine but like most oxfords have that menswear inspired appeal. If you like tough girl motorcycle boots this season, the Frye Engineer 8R Boots are top of the list of classic cool.

Motorcycle boots look great with everything, if you find a pair that fits you well, the are super comfortable and they can last forever. Frye boots are the gold standard for classic but rugged, chic and well-made boots. Frye makes their harness engineer boots in women's size 11 which is great news because it isn't always easy to find the exact thing you want in size 11. These classic Frye Engineer boots pictured on top are available in size 11. Unfortunately, the amazing Rogan Studded Frye Boots beneath them which are so perfectly distressed and tough looking are only available in size 8.5 and 9 as now.

You can purchase this boot directly from the Frye Company website or look at Nordstrom stores or other retailers in your area. The Frye Engineer boot has a buckle around the ankle and is similar to the harness boot. The Frye Harness boot named for the harness detail that makes them look so right come in many colors, leather finishes and minor variations. Also very similar to the Frye Women's Engineer 8R is the 12R Boot Gaucho Boot. The Gaucho is cool because it is a little higher on the leg so it hits at a flattering place but still a low boot with the same detail and appeal as the 8R. You can see the Harness 8R here as well
The Harness boots have a little more of a western feel while the engineer boots stay a little more urban. Both are fantastic and the feel and fit of Frye boots is excellent. Frye boots aren't cheap but money spent on them is usually money well spent. Frye Boots, whichever style you choose, whether a tall boot with a low heel like the Jane Boot or a high boot like the Frye Dorado, or one of these like the Frye Engineer boot - the quality is excellent, the leather rich and luxurious and you want to live in them.
I'm also a huge fan of the Frye Rand Engineer boot which is similar to the 8R and the Harness but has a cool workboot feel that I love. It comes in Tobacco brown which is perfect for the boot style.

If you have a little one you can even do mommy and me boot days and make your little one a mini me as Frye makes a small Frye version of the engineer boot. It's a slip on kids engineer boot that is pretty awesome.

Obviously, the materials and craftsmanship will not be the of the same level at those varied price points but is it worth it to you to pay that much more for a trendy pair of OTK boots?
